NOTE: This is a temporary website, Local Native Artisan's Official Website is currently under construction.
Local Native Artisan is a manufacturer not a retailer. You can buy at the markets or in some cases I will take phone/email orders. Shipping will depend on size of order. Via UPS or USPS
I target retailers/resellers and offer wholesale or contract manufacturing. The markets are for marketing and networking with local farmers. Markets assist to build relationships with local Patrons and vacationers. This enables me to do the necessary leg work for my wholesale/retail Patrons.
Short Answer - Yes as either a PMA - Private Member Association or under my current NON-Profit organization. Local Native Artisan is currently under a NON-Profit. I mention it to my Patrons in "passing" so to speak.
This is comparable to a custom order but on a larger scale. For example; You are a bee keeper and want to use your honey/beeswax for soaps/skin care products in your store, craft shows or farmers market. You want specific oils, butters, herbs. extracts etc. in your product. I calculate, formulate and create it for you. I do not offer Private Label at this time.
Packaging and labeling with your Logo.
Fortunately, I have not had to deal with this subject. In person sales are great because we interact face to face. If I even sense my Patron is not satisfied, I simply give them stuff to try out. In other words, If I know you are not thrilled with your purchase, I make you my human guinea pig (patrons say they love it). May not be consider the most professional explanation/procedure hence the reason for "under construction". NOTE: Wholesale accounts have agreement in place.
Keep out of direct sunlight. Never allow soap to sit in water - it is real soap that will really disappear before you know it. Use a well-draining soap dish/lift or hangable soap pouch in between use.
Real soap (1st use) typically takes longer to prime. Use a cloth, soap pouch, loofah and or sponge to lather. You most likely will use less soap.
Local Native Artisan soap can be stored for 60 days or less provided it is securely wrapped in freezer paper. Refrigerate as long as you wish. NOTE: Not all soap can be placed in the freezer! Check with the manufacture before doing so.
Local Native Artisan Body Butter will melt in direct sunlight and begin to soften about/over 90 degrees (F). There is NO preservative in the body butter therefore, DO NOT introduce moister. Use clean dry hands or a scoop. I suggest the same for lotions and creams even though a broad-spectrum preservative is used in the formulation.
Thank you for your time, consideration, patience, and most importantly your support! Sincerely, Monnie - Creator - Soap Artist
